Christmas Countdown

This my wrapping paper for my Christmas countdown the topic for my wrapping paper was Santa there were three topics but I chose the Santa theme. The hardest part was drawing the Santa on google drawings. The funniest part was to do the background for my wrapping paper it was kind of hard also because I didn't know what to chose for my background there was green there was red and there was grey and so much more so it was hard to choose from but I decided to go with the colour red. I rated my wrapping paper a 7/10.

This term we have been doing survival rotation it was a lot of fun but it has ended but don't worry because today we are going to do a celebration. The rotation was orienteering food and fire. Orienteering was about listening what to do because there are clues hiding somewhere around NPS the clues were not inside they were all outside the hardest part was finding the clues but if you stick with your troops it makes it easier. The next rotation was fire we had to make a spark from a flint some people can make are spark some people can't but that ok the hardest part for me was the flint. The last rotation was food we had to make a stuffed potato the stuffed potato had cheese and potato and ham and then we had a desert the desert was a banana with marshmallows and chocolate chips and one last thing we had to do our rotation in your homeroom team.

This is my Fabulous Finish for this week. I did a charter model. The charter model was Ghost. I draw Ghost running on the track I also did flaps on him on the flap was information about him one of the information was that one day he stole silver shoes so he can run better but he got caught by Coach Brody. Coach Brody teach him how to run faster. I put a lot of detail I put little basketball because he loves the game basketball. I didn't just put flaps on him I put flaps on the track as well. I rate my Fabulous Finish an 8/10.

 

Bush Survival.

1. Stops mean to stop and think and observe and plan. S stands for to stop and T sands for think and O stands for observe and last of all is P. P stands for a plan.
2. When you are in a bush you get hot and you want some water that is cold and fresh. Go somewhere that has clear water and goes somewhere that has clean water that you can drink without getting sick.
3. If you are building a shelter you need to be away for the water. You have to build on flat ground and protect you from bugs and the
rain and some times the winds.
4. If you are building a fire you must stay away from the water and you have to use dry sticks and must keep it in a container.
5. Bring a plaster or bandages if you get a cut or get hurt also bring any cream to keep you safe from any bugs.
6. You could yell as loud as you can for help or you can whistle if you can. So the people that are close to you can hear your scream so they will come to see if you are safe.

                             Chapter Chat
This is my Chapter Chat for this week I did Research Centre the hardest part was researching the world we had to do 5 world record the easiest part was writing the world record on a plain piece of paper the funniest part was all of it because I really like doing this Chapter Chat it was a lot of fun I had to read it all over again and an again to make it since. I rate my Chapter Chat 8/10 It really fun to make.

Tent building

What happened was that our team had to make a shelter that can block the wind and the rain and can at least fit one person to survive overnight. Our team made a shelter out of a trape and a rope and a rock. Our team use 2 poles to tie around the 2 poles so it can hold it on. Our team work very well together we take turns to have a go at building the shelters. The easiest part was working together if we weren't working together we will not even get to finish the shelter. The hardest part for me was tieing the around the pole for me it was difficult because I don't really like tieing and I really don't how to tie it around but my team help as I go I rate my Resilience is a 5 because I really didn't want to tie but my troops help to tie and show me how to do it.     

Tent building

This is a rope tarp the rope connects to the trees so if you want to build this tent you have to go somewhere that has trees to  this tree you have to get a rope and a trap and tie it around the trees the trape have to have holes so that the rope can tie it you have to surround by 4 trees or more it can’t be less because then it won’t be even and the trape will start going into an angle.

       

This tent that we think will be great building this keep you from the rain and sticks because it will run off the sides of it because it is on an angle so it will run off. You will only need rope and tarp.

Shelter

3. What you can use to build a shelter is some leaves to
  make it a big pile and some big stick that is lying on         
   the ground or a branch that fell of the trees and maybe go
   by some bushes and trees .

Manuka Resreach

What different name it has. 
This is the regular name for the Manuka tree these are other names Leptospermum this is another name for the Manuka tree.

Where you might find the manuka trees.
You could find them around New Zealand. Manuka plants are related to Australia tea tree.

What it looks like.
This is what Manuka trees look like. Manuka trees are mostly white.

What are one way that human can use Manuka trees?
Munka can help human skin like if you have a cut or a pimple when you have to put the. Manuka honey on your skin then it helps the cut or pimple heal.    

W4 T4 2019 Creation station

This my Chapter Chat for this week. The easiest part was colouring in the backgrounds there were heaps to colour in. The hardest part was drawing the person running I had to rub out so much the funniest part is drawing the front for the tile  I also had to rub out a lot also. The one at the right is my one and the one on the left is the owners one. I really like my Chapter chat it was a fun activity.

Reef Knots

This is a Reef Knots Is not that hard to tie it has a lot of twists if you tie the Reef Knots it comes in a circle. The hardest part was to tie it the right way I kept on trying then if I don't get it the right way I really get annoyed. I could use this for tieing around circle stuff. The difficulty rating is 3/10.

This week I did A way with words I had to do a poem I really like the design. I like the drawing I did.                             The hardest part was making up the poem. The easiest part was making the design ait
was also the fun part. I really enjoy my Chapter Chat.  I rate it 8/10.

Alpine Butterfly Knot

This is an Alpine Butterfly Knotsat first it was super hard I was working with a buddy so my buddy said it was too hard so she decided that she wanted to do anther knots but I wanted to still do it so I keep practising and I finally did it off by heart. I can use it like a Carabiner and hold all my keys. I rate the difficulty is a 3/10.

                      This week for my Chapter I did Research Centre. I did my Chapter Chat on google                                drawings. The easiest part was finding sneakers brand it so easy because there are so                               many brands that had sneakers my favourite sneakers was Champion because I like how                         the design there shoes. Calendar Art

Every year we make a calendar art. The easiest part was colouring in my drawing there was a lot to colour is the hardest part was thinking what to do for my calendar art. So then I decided that I want to do an underwater scene. The most thing I enjoy the most was all of it I really like the drawing that I made. I rate the drawing 9/10.

T4 W1 CC Digital Design

For this Week Chapter Chat, I did Digital Design I made two business card. I made a logo for each card business I made the logo from Logo Maker. I really enjoy the part when I made my logo that was the easiest.
It was mostly easy I really enjoy the Chapter Chat challenge. The Taxi business card was the hardest.
   

Going to the Skate park

When I woke up I was so excited because my cousin was coming over. I was thinking that we should go to the Skate park with my brother and my cousin. I let him go on my bike and I go on my scooter and my brother has his own bike already.

The next day we went to a bakery and got something to get and then we went to the skate park surprisingly there were no people there I think we are early. There are usually people at the skate park. My cousin was teaching me how to do 1 80.

After we had so much fun I landed the 1 80 and we had to go home. He had to go back to Auckland tomorrow we might have some time to go to the skate park again. He had ro drive back to Auckland by himself at night time. Here some photo of the location and photo of the skate park.

Week 7 Term 3 creation station

This Weeks Chapter Chat I did Creation station. I drew the treasure chest from the part where Stanley and Zero found that the treasure that the warden was looking for. Inside the box were gold and jewels the easiest thing as drawing the props.

This week Chapter Chat I did Creation Station I had a good idea by making it out of flaps. The main thing is on there is trobo speed and jumping higher. There something that could be useful is a pocket knife and a pocket for snacks and a pocket for other things that you can put in. At the bottom, there is spring at the bottom of the shoes so that you can jump higher.

This week I did Vocabulary the hardest word was Systematic and the easiest word was Parched. I use card and stuck them to getter with a hot glue gun. I had to cut out the cardboard to make it like card.

This week Chapter Chat I did a famous outlaw named Billy the Kid. His real named is Henry Mc Carty he was arrested at the ages 16 and his mother died at the age 15. His first crime was stealing food he killed 8 men before he died. He died at the ages 21.

            NBA is a team of basketball players. My favourite team is the Golden states and the Lakers.
                 I played for my school every year. I'm going to practice a lot to make it to the NBA.

I chose the flying car because you can skip all the traffic and see all the bird.

         

                       I did a sketch because I never did a sketch this year so I wanted to try it out.
      The title of the book was Where cuckoo call It was really hard to draw the quad bike. Then I draw
                     Table rock. The easy part was drawing the sea. I draw some birds it was easy 

     I did the logo challenge. I chose these colours black red, blue and I outlined it with the sharpie. And I chose this colour because black stand out really good. Then I draw the logo in the middle because it stands out the best and after I draw our class name which is called WHETU.
